In March, La Casa Encendida takes a closer look at the most disturbing side of war through four non-fiction films that capture the daily reality of victims and the consequences of armed conflicts in Asia and the Middle East.
Burmese refugees in China, survivors of the 1965 Indonesian genocide, besieged civilians in Syria and Koudelka's camera in the Holy Land are the protagonists of this series of openly anti-war documentaries. The screenings will accompany the debates of the seminar "The Iconography of Disaster: Shock Images and Activist Film" also being held in March at La Casa Encendida.
