For the third year running, DJ Mag ES Pro has teamed up with La Casa Encendida to plan the Sunday afternoon programme of Electrónica en Abril, bringing us a session of soul, jazz and Afro music.
Half-English half-Mauritian artist J. Deenmamode, aka Mo Kolours, has released two albums with a blend of dub, soul and Afro nuances. His brother, Reginald Omas Mamode IV, also moves comfortably in the same circles. Sounds influenced by jazz and hip hop, revamping tradition with a variety of references and allusions to African culture.
