The new wave of urban music is making itself heard loud and strong. It also refuses to be labelled under just one style. These artists tread an easy path from hip-hop to millennial bakalao, and Madrid-born Diego 900 and Valencian artist Martín Mañas will take to the stage to prove it at the sixth edition of Puwerty.
Diego 900
There is no doubt whatsoever that Diego 900 is an emerging talent in Spain. His music can be defined as personal and contemporary, with styles that straddle R&B, rap, dancehall and Latin, mainly influenced by hip-hop culture. His latest release, Gas Platino, has been warmly received and has left fans keen to see him perform live and hear his next projects.
Martín Mañas
Martín Mañas is an 18-year-old artist from Valencia who plays with Los Killaos, a band formed by a group of friends who are trying to innovate and develop their own original music style. Their work includes songs with a magical vibe, especially on albums like La ciudad de la alquimia and Cuento mágico.
