Her music is as socially aware as she herself is: in her songs she speaks about the migrant experience, feminism, gender equality, queer visibility and self-love. Her unique style has led her to play at festivals like Sónar and BBK Live.
Simona is an Argentinian singer-songwriter based in Barcelona. Her first single, Bali, gave her an entry into the emerging music scene, but what has really established her career and drawn acclaim from all quarters has been her constant ability to reinvent herself and explore different genres.
After releasing her first EP, Mimo, in May last year, she brings to The Magnetic Terrace her first LP, Esfera de amor, an album that shows a more mature Simona forging her new path as an artist. Her unique style has led to performances all over Spain, Argentina and Mexico, playing at festivals like Sónar, Festival B, BBK Live, Observatorio, Bahidora and Lollapalooza, and to collaborations with artists like Lee Eye, Chico Blanco, Irene Garry, Broke Carrey, Anyi, Aww and Six Sex.
