The Márgenes Festival has become a national and international beacon of the edgiest Ibero-American indie cinema.
Márgenes is a festival dedicated to the new audiovisual narratives produced in Latin America, Spain and Portugal. It is a flexible, provocative, innovative competition that constantly reflects on the direction in which cinema and contemporary society are headed, an event that mutates each year to adapt to new realities and needs.
This year La Casa Encendida will host the screenings of the official section from 24 to 26 November and the closing ceremony on 1 December with the Madrid premiere of Lucrecia Martel's latest film, Zama. And, of course, the third edition of the audiovisual project analysis and development forum MRG/WORK.
