Acento: Exhibition of the 2016 Artists-in-Residence Programme
Acento is a programme associated with Artists-in-Residence, a joint initiative of La Casa Encendida and the CA2M that aims to support performative approaches to body-centred creation and research.
Over a three-day period, artists will present the projects they have been working on in 2016 at Accent, and there will also be an opportunity for interaction with the artists chosen for the 2017 programme.
The presentation of several of the projects will be open to the public.
During these days, both institutions want to emphasise the process of reflection triggered by the act of creating art with the body, understood as a social body, a political construct capable of generating knowledge through the senses.
The participating artists in 2016 are: Lilli Hartman and Pablo Durango, Gérald Kurdian, Norberto Llopis, Julián Pacomio and Miguel del Amo, Claudia Pagés, Quim Pujol and Silvia Ulloa.
