Siew Hua Yeo (Singapore, 1985) is a director who graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Philosophy. He made his directorial debut with the experimental film In the House of Straw (2009). Years later, he directed a documentary about Singapore’s little-known music scene, The Obs: A Singapore Story. His third feature film, A Land Imagined, won the Golden Leopard (Best Film) award at the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland last year.
