The subtle, unsettling tale of a woman who connects with a corpse in search of affection.
When a lonely woman running her family’s funeral home is on the verge of losing hope for herself and her business, she finds comfort and fortune in an abandoned corpse. She ritualistically incorporates it into her daily routine, initially as a good luck charm and eventually as a beloved companion, creating a macabre poetry of transformed abjection. The protagonist alchemises a grim situation, finding life and sustenance in what outwardly reads as decay.
