Seminar Full Time Images: The Integrated Spectacle
Within the programming of
8th Márgenes Festival
24 Nov 2018
Duration: | 10 hours 30 minutes |
Organised jointly by the Márgenes Festival and La Casa Encendida, this interdisciplinary seminar examines and discusses audiovisual saturation and its impact on politics, culture and society.
The seminar will focus on contemporary society under the paradigm of the integrated spectacle, a diffuse, totalising and ubiquitous system that generates relationships mediated by images and, in the final instance, turns us into mere spectators, separating us from life's specific situations. How can we scratch the screen/membrane of the integrated spectacle in its 2.0 version?
