Continuing the cycle “Changing Our World: Ideas for New Times”, we will discuss the basic human right to water in a world dominated by shortage, waste and business interests. Participants in this session will learn about Colombian and Spanish experiences in defending access to water, sanitation and responsible water management. Guest speakers: María Botero and Pedro Arrojo.

- María Botero Mesa, legal counsel for Corporación Ecológica y Cultural Penca de Sábila (Colombia)
- Pedro Arrojo, lecturer at the University of Zaragoza. His research focuses on the water economy. As a congressional representative for Zaragoza with the Unidas Podemos party, he served as spokesperson of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Environment.
