La Casa Encendida is proud to present the winning artists and projects of the 25th edition of Generaciones, the competition organised by Fundación Montemadrid to promote young artists and provide them with tools to produce and disseminate their work. The primary aim of the programme is to offer a platform, dedicated to contemporary art, to showcase and publicise the work of these young creators to critics as well as general audiences.
The jury members—Bruno Leitão, curator and researcher; Claudia Segura, curator of exhibitions and collections at MACBA, Barcelona; and Ericka Flórez, artist, publisher, curator and artistic direct of the independent venue Lugar a dudas in Cali, Colombia—selected the eight winning projects, with a prize of 10,000 euros each, from more than three hundred entries.
